Year 3 Assembly - Thursday 23rd November

Year 3 shared their learning about the Stone Age to parents and grandparents. They became archaeologists and helped us to learn about the early life of humans. We found out about their nomadic lifestyle and the role of the brave hunters. Pupils shared their persuasive holiday brochures about Skara Brae.
The assembly finished with the pupils singing a song all about Doddington that they helped to write as part of a heritage project with Historic England. They were aided by a folk group called the Young' Uns. We all learnt so much about our local history.

Parents and grandparents were then invited into the classroom to spend time participating in an activity along with their children. They worked together to complete a Climate Zones Craft Activity.

Well done everyone!
