World Book Day 2024
All pupils and staff were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or wearing pyjamas along with their favourite story.
Throughout the day, our Year 6 pupils popped into our other classes to share and read stories. Children spent time talking about the story, thinking about the actions of the characters and describing the settings.
All pupils took part in a range of activities related to developing our love of reading.
Pupils were invited to create a ‘Book in a Box’.
Look at the results. They are all amazing! Well done to everyone.
Parents, grandparents and carers were invited to come in to school and view them all.
