The Lionel Walden choir took a trip to Wembley to take part in Voice In A Million 2024 at the OVO Arena. After months of choir practice, we made our way down to London (via Burger King at South Mimms services for lunch!)
Over 5000 children from schools all over the country took part, all singing their hearts out together. This was the 15th year of the event and is held not only to showcase amazing musical talents but to also raise awareness of Adoption. It is supported by Adoption UK.
Lots of parents also bought tickets to watch the event, with many of them commenting how amazing and emotional the whole thing was.
The children were fantastic and all really enjoyed the experience. After singing and dancing all night, we had a very quiet coach on the way home!
