Remembrance Day - Monday 11th November 2024

As part of Remembrance Day this year, the whole school took part in a service on the playground. Pupils in school wore their Scout, Beaver, Cubs, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and Squirrels uniforms for the day. We were joined by parents and grandparents along with members of our local community. This included members of our local Scout group who came to carry their flags and join in the parade.

Each class read out a short poem or reading, song a song and shared the different types of Remembrance artwork. Mr Langley, a parent and member of the RAF, along with his son Morgan in Year 3, led  the silence. We were also joined by local Scout Leaders.

We all held a two-minute silence at 11 o'clock to pay our respects.
