Normal hours of work: 3.30pm – 6.15pm, term time plus 10 days during school holiday periods.
Salary: £11.59 per hour; 13.75 hrs a week; 40 weeks per year.
Purpose of job:
To undertake, as part of a team, the thorough cleaning of designated areas within the school premises to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring classrooms including after school classroom, corridors, toilets and communal areas are cleaned, polished, swept and vacuumed;
- Emptying of litter bins and removal to disposal point;
- Replenishing of soap, paper towels and toilet paper;
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely;
- Ensuring the school is kept secure.
